Jared Crozier: One of those games...

I didn't get a chance to watch the game but i was following the stats and if the shots were any indication of how good or bad the Sens did. I'd say they did okay.

They were talking about it this morning on the team 1200 and it did seem like Karlsson was a bit rusty and the rest of the team let off a bit.

Also, good God Karlsson needs a hair cut and a shave

Not sure why everyone thinks Karlsson looked rusty or wasn’t in form. He was the best player on the ice and was flying. It actually looks like he might take another step this year. He just looks happy to be playing and knows he’s ridiculously good. Insanely fun to watch.

Too bad nothing was bouncing the Sens direction along with average goaltending. Jared is correct. A game the Sens really should have won.

Kyle Turris is turning 29 years old in Aug next year.

He will play his first year of his new contract as a 29 year old obviously - and likely get at least a 5 year deal.

The Sens have been rumored to table $6m for 5 years - which I think is a GREAT deal for both sides - but probably favors the Sens only because they got great value out of tury for so long AND he is UFA and one of their (if not THE) best forward on the team.

IMO - unless they can bring another center that can score 60 points a season and play big in the playoffs - they

Apparently it's more about term for Turris - which leads me to believe if they gave him a 6-8 deal, the cap hit comes down.

B) 6 years @6.25M

C) 7 years @5.8M

D) 8 years @5.5M

I'd say 6y/6M would be perfect...don't want something that goes over 35y old...
